Good News for the Meezer Boys!!

Good News - All 4 Meezer Boys Will Be Saved!!! YAY!!!!

As I read this message, the meezers are scheduled to be pulled early this coming week - well before their PTS date!!! YAY!!!

Fosters have been found for three of the meezers & one has found a home!!! YAY!!!

Bubba's new home will be in a little town just Northwest of Chicago... Yay - Hey, that's really close to us! Interesting...

Bubba's new Mom will be Cory Clark - hey Mom, that's the same as your name! Huh, what are the odds?...

...WAIT A MINUTE!!! NNOOOOOOOO!!!

(Mom: Sorry, baby - but just like Inigo & Rumbles and Cory the Cat, I just loved his picture! He needs us! Look - you two already look like you're brothers!)

First you take away our crunchies & NOW you're bringing in another cat??!! Woman, THIS MEANS WAR!!!

(Mom: ps. We're going to try to think up a new name for him - as a symbol of his new life. Everyone can help - give us the name(s) you think will suit him!)

Nico: I've got a name for him... UB - Unwanted Brat!
Jay: ... BUT I THOUGHT THAT WAS MY NAME!

Update on the Meezer Boys!!

Update: Here is some more information on the meezer boys needing new homes:

Unnamed – adult (3-4 years) – male, neutered & Jazz – 6 years – male, neutered

Little Boy – 2 years – male, unneutered

Bubba – 3 years – male, unneutered

There was no paper work to say if they had shots or so they will probably have to be vaccinated. Also, there is no proof of them being tested for FeLK/FIV so it is recommended that folks have them tested before they are put on the transport van - Just as a precaution if they have other cats.

Note from Judi (redheadone@sssnet.com): They are all Applehead Seal Points & have been Inside Only kitties. That helps me believe that there is nothing wrong with them. I have also been told that they are very healthy. As for their personalities, Dana (her friend who works at the shelter) has not given me that info. She just said that they were very frightened when they first came to the shelter but have started to come out of their shells and are coming to her for pets when she visits them. I would imagine that they are good with other cats since they lived in a multi-cat household.

Help! Help! Meezer Emergency!!

I was just notified of six meezers who are at a high kill shelter in KY! They belonged to a couple & the husband passed away - the wife can't live by herself & her children moved in with her, but the daughter is allergic. They only have about a week before they are put down (!!!)

There are volunteers that may be able to help with transport - I am checking with my landlord to see if I can adopt one of these babies!
