Critical Letter

Dear staff member - formerly known as "Mom" (or "the nice lady who takes care of me now" in Simon's case),

We are afraid your performance in the last few days has been abysmal & are questioning your continued employment with our firm.  Not assisting us with our blog or helping us visit our friends is unacceptable.  Insomnia & being busy at your day job are NOT plausible excuses.  Until further notice, consider yourself on probation.

Sincerely,

Nicodemus P. Meezer
President & CEO of Meezer-Bengalville

Simon H.A. Meezer,
Chairman of Nip & Foodies

JayJay the Bengal (mix)
CFO - In charge of Fever Wands

On a side note: We would also prefer you to sleep downstairs on the couch so that we are not constantly disturbed by your fish flopping antics.

  7. Hey can we copy and paste this letter to our mom? MOL!!!

Re: the camera taking pics of Gretchen... The black and white pics with the info at the bottom are from our stationary infrared trail cam. The pics with Gretchen's lasers shining are from a digital camera. She is getting quite close. Mom can get within about 3 feet of her now. Just no sudden moves or she'll run off.

  8. Oh we say give your mom a break - sometimes things get busy and they can't help. YOu don't put them on probation, you just leave subtle reminders like hairballs on their pillow - or in their shoe.

  9. "fish flopping antics" MOL!!! Our Mommy does that too and it's SO disrupting to our mid early late night big bed nap.

To the Mom: I just saw a food dish in Dr. Foster's "just for cats" catalogue that is a food-slower-downer-eater-dish; catalogue #AWL-34876. It's on sale now for $10.19.

  10. My human has been on probation since I first got here. If yours has only been slacking off lately, count yourselves as lucky - there is probably a good chance you can get her straightened out.

P.S. Happy one-month anniversary, Simon! I missed your post the other day!

  11. Hahaha!
A word of advice. You should sleep on top of your mum so she is pinned to the bed and then she can't flop around like a fish.

  12. We could write that same letter to our mom...we're tired of her telling us she's too busy to pay attention to us...slacker!!!

  13. That's pretty funny. I think my feline sisters have similar complaints!

Thanks for stopping by my blog this afternoon!

  14. You boys are brutal!

Can we copy the letter? Nigel could use a little help...when he wants something he puts his beefy paws on mom's chest at 3am and meows LOUDLY in her face. It's embarrassing.

Thanks for wishing Grete a Happy Birthday!
